The Author of Justice…!
Thou art the One and Only One worthy of praise by all the creations of this world…!
Thou hast given us this beautiful world, filled with wonders, miracles, nature and marvellous creations. Thou hast blessed the world with nourishment, energy, prosperity and countless resources, so that all human beings may live, grow and prosper in peace and happiness.
Thou art the Mighty One, far beyond our thoughts, understanding and imagination. No one has seen Thee; no one can truly see Thee; and Thy holiness, greatness and majesty are beyond human comprehension. Yet, in our limited wisdom, men give Thee names, forms and images, attempting to understand the One who is beyond all names, forms and imagination.
Whatever goodness takes place in this world each day comes from Thee. Thou fillest every day with blessings, wonders and miracles. The growth and progress of every person, every family and every nation are possible through Thy grace. Thou givest wisdom and knowledge to humanity for the betterment and comfort of life.
Yet Thou hast hidden Thy full majesty and the mystery of Thy works from the sight, senses, knowledge and conscience of mankind. Perhaps Thou knowest that we, in our limited human understanding, could not bear the full revelation of Thy greatness and Thy deeds.
All Thy creations are magnificent. Man needs great wisdom and knowledge from Thee even to recognize the wonder contained in the smallest of Thy creations.
We may give scientific names and explanations to the wonders Thou hast established in this world — such as gravity, evolution and the countless laws of nature. Yet we believe that, without Thy grace and without Thy mighty hand, nothing could exist.
If we were to thank Thee with all our strength, all our hearts and all our minds, even the greatest expression of our gratitude would remain small compared with the abundance of Thy grace and blessings.
Yet we, human beings, are destroying the beauty of this world Thou hast given us through greed, selfishness and our excessive desire for luxury and possessions.
We create divisions among ourselves. We wage wars. We practise discrimination, oppression and suppression. We nurture hatred instead of love and justice. We are not faithful to Thee, nor are we faithful to the creations of Thy hands.
We humbly beg Thy mercy.
Forgive us our sins, our failures and our transgressions.
Come and establish Thy Kingdom in this world…!
Come and heal the wounds and damages we have caused to Thy beautiful creation…!
Come and heal the wounds, pains and sufferings of the innocent victims of this world…!
Come and establish the strong pillars of Love, Mercy, Peace and Justice among mankind…!
May Thy Kingdom become the healing balm for the wounds of the Earth and the answer to the sufferings of humanity…!
We bring before Thy gracious presence all those who are in need of Thy mercy and compassion:
The refugees driven from their homes by war, terrorism violence and natural disasters.
The innocent children, infants and toddlers who suffer without understanding why;
The poor who have lost their homes, security and peaceful lives;
The orphans and destitute children;
The widows who need moral and support
The bonded laborers and slaves who are illegally detained by cruel employers.
Those who have physical disabilities.
The destitute parents who struggle to run their daily life.
Those suffering from poverty and deprived of their basic needs — food, shelter, clothing, clean drinking water and a safe and healthy environment;
Those suffering from physical and mental illness;
Those living with depression, frustration, loneliness, anxiety and hopelessness;
The poor labourers who struggle for their daily livelihood;
The poor farmers whose lives depend upon the uncertainties of nature and the marketplace;
Those who are desperately neglected, ignored, rejected or pushed to the margins of society;
The poor children who yearn for education and a better future;
The poor young women who long for marriage and a secure future, and their parents who suffer anxiety and grief on their behalf;
Women who long for the blessing of motherhood;
Those who are desperately seeking employment and a dignified means of livelihood;
Those who are oppressed, exploited or suppressed in their workplaces;
Those who are treated merely as human machines, deprived of their dignity and freedom under oppressive and unjust systems;
Those who work in dangerous and hazardous places;
Women and girls who are vulnerable to violence, exploitation and danger;
And all people who are living in distress, pain, loneliness, fear and despair, seeking Thy mercy, comfort and grace.
O Almighty God, hear the prayers and supplications of Thy creations with pity, mercy and compassion.
Do not turn us away empty-handed when we come before Thy gracious presence.
Thou knowest us better than we know ourselves. Thou knowest our thoughts, our fears, our weaknesses, our hopes and our deepest desires.
For Thou art our Father, who cares for us from the beginning of our lives until the end of our earthly journey.
When we lose our way, guide us.
When we are weak, strengthen us.
When we are afraid, comfort us.
When we are suffering, give us courage.
When we are selfish, teach us compassion.
When we are divided, bring us together.
When we are unjust, awaken our conscience.
When we hate, teach us to love.
When we destroy, teach us to protect.
When we have lost hope, kindle within us the light of hope.
May Thy mercy descend upon every human being.
May Thy Love unite humanity.
May Thy Justice protect the weak and the oppressed.
May Thy wisdom guide the powerful.
May Thy compassion reach the suffering.
May peace prevail among all nations and peoples.
May this Earth, Thy beautiful creation, be preserved for generations yet unborn.
And may every human being learn to recognize the value, dignity and beauty of every other human being and of every creation of Thy hands.
Almighty God, Creator of the Earth and King of the Universe,
We place ourselves, our families, humanity and the whole world in Thy gracious hands.
Have mercy upon us.
Forgive us.
Guide us.
Heal us.
Protect us.
And lead us towards Love, Peace, Justice, Wisdom and Compassion.
May Thy Kingdom come.
May Thy Will be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven.
