People will revolutionize and overthrow unjust rulers around the world. People will hate luxury and turn to God.  Surely, throughout 2021 the sun will appear in the east and set in the west.

We look forward to entering in a few more days from 2020 to 2021. Many pastors, astrologers, and almanac writers will begin to write down their visions, promises, and predictions for 2021. Before that, I have given my forecasts for 2021 above. This is how each guess is predicted according to the time period and imposed on us. With the occurrence of something predicted based on “Trend”, we exalt the narrator or the predictor. We forget what did not happen in what they said. Everything that happens is going according to God’s plan. So, live in the present, knowing the future you can change nothing in the world.

Idolatry - The First and worst sin

I was born and brought up from a Catholic family.  Despite the various supreme doctrines like service-mindedness, public welfare, patriotism, love, justice & peace and social concern of Catholic Christianity, some abominable cults still persist here. One of them is idolatry. Most Catholic cults are meant to satisfy people and not for God.  A religion must change the people for God and cannot try to change God for human beings.  One thing my Catholic Church needs to explain. Are you following the Bible or do you listen to the blind beliefs of the people and allow them to worship as they please? . "No one can serve two masters. He will either hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon." (Matthew 6:24). As far as I know from the first book “Genesis” in the Old Testament till the last book “Revelation” in the New Testament of the Bible, there is no recognition of idolatry in any of the scriptures rather than severe contempt are found until book of "Revelation". The Ten Commandments are a command given forever. Its very first commandment recognizes idolatry as the first sin. Adam's first sin was idolatry (apple) by seeing and tasting with disobedience. That is what caused Adam to stray from God. Idolatry is strongly condemned in various Old Testament texts such as Isaiah and Psalms. Moreover, Paul, the foremost pioneer of the Catholic Church and a key figure in the New Testament, calls idolatry a fornication or adultery. If the people and their rituals are important to the Catholic Church, please remove the Old Testament from their Bible. Because of the interpretations that many Catholics give to their idolatry

1) After Jesus Christ, all the laws of the Old Testament have been abolished. Other         Christian churches also say the same dialogues to convince  their own interpretations on Bible.
My answer: “Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place. Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5: 17-19)

2) God encouraged Idolatry during Moses' period.  "and the LORD said to Moses, "Make a saraph and mount it on a pole, and if anyone who has been bitten looks at it, he will recover." Moses accordingly made a bronze serpent and mounted it on a pole, and whenever anyone who had been bitten by a serpent looked at the bronze serpent, he recovered (Numbers 21: 8-9)
My Answer: The serpent here is nothing but a warning of the consequences of sin, which God did not say to worship. Many Catholics associate the description of the serpent with the image of Christ in Cross. What an awkward explanation.

3) Arc of Covenant. -  is an body that bears the laws and Bible does not say to worship it. Given the importance of the Statues and scriptures, it was emphasized that scriptures would not perish over time.

4) At home do we not hang a photo of our deceased mother or father?
My Answer:  Are God and Man equal? Has anybody in the World ever seen God? Will anybody worship something in the form of a monkey, a dog or a donkey, saying that he remembers his father?

Therefore, my dear Catholic people, the majesty of our Creator is neither trivial to be visible to our eyes or our intellect, nor human beings are superior to see HIM.
Even though different and different beautiful and attractive words can be given to idols and statues, it is Idolatry only and the sin against First Commandment of Ten Commandments.
I can give more than a hundred verses from the Bible against idolatry, including the New Testament. In support for idolatry, can you show me a single verse? Either to follow your usual rituals leaving the Bible aside Or to follow the Bible leaving your regular rituals -  Man? God?    Choose for yourself who is important in your life.  But, As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.  (Josuah 24:15)

Want to see miracles or signs?

A man had set up a beautiful garden around his house. He grew a variety of fruit trees, vegetable plants, beautiful flowering plants and spectacular Crotons. Some grasses, some plants grow with them either by birds or by water or air.  He used to throw away what had grown like this. Sometimes they grew well out of sight. He had a skin disease all over his body. It was very irritating and painful. Going to the dermatologist and spending many thousands, he was coming back again and again. Not knowing what to do with him, (Don’ think that I'm going to say that he went to a healing, miraculous prayer meeting), one night he dreamed that a plant grown as a juniper plant in his house was shining brightly. He woke up the next morning, plucked its leaves, grinded them well and applied it all over his body. After a while the irritation in his body began to subside. After being treated like this for a month, the skin disease on his body completely disappeared. What the man thought was rubbish became a priceless medicine brought him the greatest benefit.

Such like that, there are so many types of herbs around us. We ignore them as junk plants without knowing its true medicinal properties. In particular, the plants Gale of the Wind (Scientific name: Phyllanthus niruri) are found as smaller juniper plant in many places. It is an excellent remedy for jaundice and liver diseases. God has made so many miracles and wonders all around us. But we fail to realize them. Didn't a small seed grow into a densely growing tree? Didn’t a single micro size reproductive cell (sperm) make a huge body? Didn’t a drop of water make clouds and consequent rain? Didn't a small spark destroy the big forest? Aren't molecules and tissues matter? We can see so many wonders all around us, the earth hanging as a ball in the space, wind, rain, fountains, waterfalls, mountains, plants, trees, forests, creatures and so on. Many books have to be written to tell us about the human brain, his wisdom, his knowledge, the functions of every organ of the body, the physiological, chemical and psychological changes that take place within us. God has created many such wonderful miracles inside and around us.
We, in search of miracles and wonders, wander to hear the preaching and to see their show of human beings (in the meetings for miraculous healing worship, meetings for salvation, powerful preacher, healer, holy one .......).  All of these do not really bring us a permanent real change, liberation, physically and mentally, unless they satisfy our eyes like magic and sometimes put the mind to sleep as hypnotised.

In fact, the Lord has made the healing plant within us. We have not found them yet.
The best way is to read the Bible properly and meditate in solitude with prayer.

“For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.”    (Psalm 139:13-14)

“Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.”
                                          (Psalm 20:7)

“Unless you people see signs and wonders,” Jesus told him, “you will never believe.”
  (John 4:48)

PRIMES for a Healthy Life

Dear Children, healthy life is of the best wealth for human beings. Both physically and mentally we should maintain our health so that we can live a happy and peaceful life without any troubles. So, it is said, “Health is wealth”. There are six important practices you can do for the betterment of your health. They are PRIMES

Prayer
Responsibility, Reading and Righteous
Immunity
Meditation
Exercise
Sleeping

Prayer is not just a religious ritual. Prayer is a science, enlightenment, a medicine, a meditation, a lifestyle and the bonding that connects God and man.

Prayer is an expression of Hope (Expectation from God)
Prayer is an expression of faith (Belief in God)
Prayer is an expression of humility (To understand External & Eternal status)
Prayer is an expression of peace of mind (To define the inner status)
Prayer has the power to repel negative thoughts.

Man cannot give anything to God by praying, but, at the same time man gets various benefits. The results of many researches show that through prayer, we can make many changes in ourselves physically and mentally. For example, the Pineal Gland inside our brain secretes pleasure-producing peptides that make us happy. Also today’s medical analysis reports that Endorphins, a group of hormones secreted within the brain and nervous system and having a number of physiological functions. They are peptides which activate the body's opiate receptors, causing an analgesic effect that is bringing the man to ecstasy or meditation.  When we pray in deep, these glands secrete the peptides which increase the health of our body and mind.

Responsibility:  We’ve already discussed this in topic “Take your Ownership”.

Reading is one of the best habits and an exercise for mind that stimulates your brains for positive thinking and develops cognitive skills. It makes our minds calm so that the people suffer from Insomnia (Sleeping Disorder) can get a remedy by reading nooks. It opens the doors for getting new ideas, knowledge and acumen.  It develops innovative thoughts, vocabulary and critical thinking skills. Further it enhances comprehension, imagination and creative ideologies. During reading good books, Oxytocin is a peptide hormone composed of nine amino acids produced in the brain which is also projected to other parts of the brain and to the spinal cord, where it acts as a neuromodulator, influencing the activity of other neurons in the brain. Hence, reading makes your body and mind healthier. It builds your memory, self-confidence, leadership quality, writing skills and concentration as well as it broadens your horizon.

Being Right, in what we do, what we speak, what we think and what we share, our mind and body find calm and peaceful pace that makes us healthy as there is no fear or worries of any wrong in consequent to our thought, speech and action.

Immunity will not be scored on how much we eat but on what we eat, how we eat and what duration we eat. Healthy diet rather than junk foods, timely diet rather than delayed fillings and relaxed eating rather than hurry in eating.  Curry, Hurry, Worry, Sorry are the four things to be followed properly on your diet. Avoid more spicy and oily foods that can spoil entire track of Oesophagus (food pipe) from mouth to your stomach. Don’t eat food in hurry or in urgency. It will create a dysfunction of your salivary glands, intestine and stomach. Eat foods with a happy, satisfied and peaceful mind so that it will help for proper digestion. When you are insisted to eat more than your limit, just say “Sorry” to them.

Meditation is the psychic process of training your mind to focus at one point spiritually or positively by redirecting our thought into one frame of ideal mindset. It can be used to make Self-discovery, to develop a positive mood and insight, self-discipline, patience, healthy sleep patterns, and even increased pain tolerance. It controls negative thoughts, stress, anxiety and depression that results patience and tolerance. Due to the secretion of hormones during meditation, the brain tissues, nervous systems and muscles get relaxed and as a result of deep breathing, the oxygen level in the blood increases which controls blood pressure. It increases memory power and concentration on studies and work so that it avoids addiction on bad habits or bad things. Psychiatrists recommend meditation along with medication for the people who are suffering of sleeplessness and fears.

Exercise is an important key for physical and mental health. As there are different physical workouts for physical health like walking, swimming, cycling, gymnastics, etc., there are many exercises for mental growth and health like Cross Word, Puzzle, Sudoku, Personality and Cognitive assessment tests, Aptitude tests and Memory tests etc. Reading and Meditation are also types of exercise for mind. Physical exercises help in controlling obesity, blood cholesterol, and blood sugar (Diabetes), heart disease, stroke and cancer. It relaxes muscular tissues and reduces stress, depression and dementia. There are so many physical and mental benefits through exercises which you have already known.

Sleeping is one among the important nature and necessities for any living creatures. Sleeping is one of the God’s gifts and it makes our mind and body relaxed for the rejuvenation of our body, mind and soul to work better on the next day.  Sleepless night will make you fight. Yes, sleeplessness will result stress and anxiety causing mistakes and errors in our works.  A proper sleeping enhances the Metabolism in our body which is most important function for growth of external and internal organs and their proper functioning. Most of physicians advise to avoid the night study for examinations which can result physical and behavior disorders only and not much in academic grade or rank. Sleep well in the night and study well in the day. A sound sleep will yield a sound health and will make a good relationship with other people.
Follow these practices regularly in your daily life and you will realize the transformation

Evaluate your IQ level

Intelligence is the mental skill to react spontaneously to different situations which we face have not yet experienced and to make cognitive thinking to understand complex ideas.

Discovery of “Self”

What is “self”?.  We can compare “self” to the light come from an electric bulb, for that we need to have the outside object(Bulb - Body), inner substance (Tungsten or LED etc.,- Mind) and the power (electricity - Soul).  Like this, “self” is a construction of body, mind and soul. If either of these is not found, self is nowhere. Self is just an emission of light according to the characteristics as the bulb of produced and illuminated until it is switched on by the operator. Many philosophies include heart as a separate dimension of self.  But it is an interrelated medium between these entire three dimensions that is body, mind and soul. It is affected by either of these either physically or emotionally.

Discovery of “Self” is a lifelong spiritual pilgrimage that we tend to find out the truth questioning of “self” such  as What we are, Why we are, Where we are and how we are through the insight or wisdom which is an external source provided by the Almighty. Every creation is created by God for some purposes.  Considering our body, our hairs and nails are also made for some purposes.  We must find out the truth for what purpose we are in the World, what are the inbuilt features within me, what I gain from the society and what should I give back to the society.

“The purpose of life is to discover your gift. The meaning of life is to give it away”.  -  David Viscot.

In the Worldly life, we travel through different interests, different ways, different mind-sets, ideologies and different methodologies.  As well, the journey of our life gives us pains, learning, knowledge, experiences and guidance in various environments. Self- awareness is the main component of the journey examining our thoughts, our speeches, our actions, our feelings, our preferences, our emotions, our ethics & values, our belief and our self-esteem. What we develop inside and what we learned from outside constitute our belief, our vision, our goals, our characteristics and our personality traits. As bible says, “For every tree is known by his own fruit. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” (Luke 6:43-45)

Our hope and dreams are built according to our long-term thought which may make us cherish or perish. Keeping the trust on good will keep you good. Keep questioning yourself

1) How I was?  (To develop or to destroy)
2) How I am?  (To sustain or withdraw)
3) Where I am?  (In the right path or not)
4) What I am ?  (As a creation of God)
5) Who I am?   (Purpose of my life)
6) What should I be? (My vision and goal)
7) To whom I am accountable?  (Personally & Socially)
8) Why is this? Why not this?  (Cause and effect)
9) What I should think, speak, act and perceive?
10) When should I speak and act?  (Wait for the time)
11) Whether I am right and wrong? (Check with others)
12) What are my core strengths to benefit me and others?

“Let us test and examine our ways, and return to the Lord!” (Lamentations 3:40)

“When I think on my ways, I turn my feet to your testimonies;”   (Psalm 119:59)

“Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!”  (Psalm 139: 23-24)

“Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.”  (Proverbs 4:23)

Prayer to Heavenly Father

Abba, our Father in the Heaven
We’re nothing but praising even
Holy is Thy name to adorations
Glory and majesty are affiliations
Let Thy kingdom come on Earth
Let Thy word to reign us forth
As Thy will are the laws of heaven,
Let them be the laws in Earth even.
Give the needs for life to everyone,
As all the needs of heaven are done.
Fill us with your spirit to follow Thee
Find our sins and reprimand us free
Grant us the wisdom and insight
To help those who need in our sight
We are the works of Thy hands,
Make us to be tied in Thy bands.
As Thee forgive us and our sins,
Bless us to forget others’ sins.
Don’t allow us to turn away
From the path, Thee array.
Give us good health in body,
Mind and soul to live happily.
Deliver us from all the evil,
For we will live a life peaceful.

                                                AMEN

An Endless Journey to learn

We can get good lessons and good experiences from many places. You can get a lot out of it especially on journeys. Train journeys will teach you the most useful and interesting things. Even longer travel is an opportunity to meet a wide variety of people. It is an adventure to ride in unreserved train coaches and compartments in densely populated, economically disproportionate and developing countries like India and Bangladesh. During many of the holiday seasons, everyone who travels in unreserved compartments needs to play a circus until they get off at their destination. During the twelve-hour journey, people would have been stuffed across those train carriages, unable to sleep and unable to stand or move. Even in the narrowest luggage berth, many people had been achieving sleeping on it which is more or less one foot in width.  The crowds were filled the coach up to the toilet and especially the labours from North India travelled sitting in the toilet. A thought would come “What a horrible this is!”.

I had also traveled as a passenger on some of these train journeys. People were packed one among bundles they travelled, sorry, were carried away. Carrying burdens in their hands and worries in their minds, many poor people spend their lives on that train journey. Everyone will have different stories of tragedy.  When seeing the situation of the people who travel in this unreserved coach with family including children, the elderly people and the family, our mind would like to say, "Alas! Why was I born in such a country?" Seem to think that. "Are the facilities and opportunities in this country is only for the rich and the ruling class? While the enjoyers are enjoying themselves, Are the poor and the laity the third class citizens who are not eligible to live?".  Like that many thoughts of socialism would be arisen during the journeys. More and more crowds were onboarding further at each station. Even that small gap around us inch by inch would disappear. During that twelve-hour journey, some controversies over space occupying, many discussions about politics, cinema, and everyday life and about the family situation had been falling into the ears. Moreover, the murmurs of the old people and the poor men would make tears flowing from our eyes and pierced the sword into our heart. The grievances of the North Indian workers who come with their families in search of work can be understood beyond their incomprehensible language.

Those very few train coaches carried many people such as young widow with a child in her arms, children abandoned by her parents, laborers and graduates in search of jobs and farmers who left from their agriculture work going to find wage labor in the city. Among others, some are elderly parents who worked hard, worked in field, educated their children, and later were insulted and drove out by their children from their houses and travelled to find a wage labor in the city as they were practiced to do hard work rather than depending on any other sources like asylum. A craving would come frequently, If the ruling class in any one of their days experience this journey, this situation will not last any longer. Carrying the mind-boggling stories of so many people, the train travels. Those trips will teach us the lesson of how many lower class people suffer more than we do. It also will insist us for thanking the Lord for all what we have and what we enjoy.

If we look at the richer than us,
Our stomach will burn;
If we look at the poorer than us,
Our mind will learn.

I’m a soft but bold Child (Poetry for Children)

I am a growing little child;
Hundreds of dreams I have.
I’m a beauty when I smiled;
I am too soft as well as brave.

I am lovely and polite youth
I love all as God loves me
I wish to be loved in sooth
It’ll make me to think free

Pretty roses you can see,
When you make me smiled;
Painful thorns you’ll feel,
When you try to act wild.

I am an innocent little child,
Like as your kids and sibling.
Hundreds of desires I ensiled,
Harass not me for your feeling.

Lot of spirits I need to achieve
Longing days through indeed
Let me not disgusted to grieve
Life for me is not as the weed.

I am a wind of your choice
As a sweet breeze for rejoice
As well as a storm of noise
To raise up my right N’ voice

I have my desire to fly
To touch the stars in sky
I have my dream to drive
Within the clouds N’ to dive

Whether you help me or not
You don’t spoil my thought
As a little sparrow in the blue
I wish to spread my wings too.

I am not just a flower that
You just pluck N’ throw out;
I am a wild fire spread out
That will burn you as a lout.

We are children of the Lord
HE’s our protecting guard
Who can be against us,
When the Lord is with us?

But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea. – Matthew 18: 6, 10)

“See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven”

Cleanse your body & mind regularly (For Children)

Philip had been requesting
his charismatic leader for many days to come to his house. Due to his continuous persuasion, the leader vowed to come one day. Philip arranged for the leader's visit to give a grand welcome. He decorated the house. He ornamented house with decorations, bought new tables and chairs. The leader came on that day as he promised. After talking for a while, they went to the dining room for the lunch. The dining room was full of pungent smell.  A variety of dishes came to the dining table. Some foods were high in salt. Some were too spicy. In some, oil was overused. Some foods are not cooked properly. Unable to eat them, the leader left.

Like this, if the food in some houses is tasty, the house will not be clean. In some houses the house is clean and the food is good but the dining table is not clean. Guests who are willing to stay for several days will thus leave in one day.

Like this, our body is the abode of the presence, grace and wisdom of the Lord. Our mind is a dining room. Our thoughts are on the types of food items presented before the Lord. Even if one of these (Body, Mind and Thoughts) is found with defects, the divine presence and grace and wisdom that come as guest will soon depart from us.

Keep body and soul pure. Wash and clean them immediately to remove any stains or abrasions. Make thoughts the favorable and suitable food of the Lord. Eliminate spicy foods such as anger, deceit, jealousy, greed, evil words, lustful thoughts, hatred, arrogance, insert, vain pride, criticism, guilt, and revenge. Multiply the delicious foods of love, patience, compassion, meekness, forgiveness, peace, happiness, humility and good conduct. The Lord who tastes these will make His presence, grace and wisdom with you forever.

You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves: I am the Lord.  -  Leviticus 19:28

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. – 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. -  Colossians 3:5

Take your ownership (For Children)

“Ownership”, “Responsibility”,  “Accountability” are the difficult task as well as a challenging one as most of us in particular many youths are feared to accept even for a trial.

Lars was a teenage boy attending school. His father Anderson served as a captain on a warship. Mother Evelyn worked as a doctor at a government hospital. From the young age, Lars never did any of his own work, was a perfect lazy guy.  He was growing up very pet. He even forced his mother or housemaid to do his school assignments. The father used to come home only once in every six months or once a year. Once, his mother was ordered to go to London for her research study staying in London for two years. She arranged for him to stay in a hostel at the Military school and left for London. That military school hostel looked like hell to Lars, who grew up in the luxury of home. He was forced to do all his own work. He should get up early in the morning, take a bath, wash his clothes himself, clean his room, and eat at the right time, study and exercise. So many orders like this stunned him. Many times when he escaped from the hostel, trying to go to his cousin's house, he got caught and punished. Two years passed like this. Experiences in the hostel made him a new man. Everything he did in the hostel was duly observed at home.

We also learn many lessons the practical experiences. Before that we live seeking the help of others without any sense of responsibility or duty consciousness. The attitude of accepting and apologizing even when we do something wrong sometimes goes away from us. This “failure to launch” trend is giving rise to the realization that young people today are feeling less and less prepared for the responsibilities of adulthood. At the same time, today’s kids from Generation Y and Generation Z still struggle with entitlement, believing that their parents or society owes a nice life to them. In this atmosphere where so many kids believe they are ready for a future they really know nothing about, I believe the single most important ingredient for maturity and leadership that parents can pass on is ownership.
“Ownership” is the greatest gift we can utilise to develop our leadership skills. It plays a vital role in organisations or governance.
Ownership is an advanced skill that helps in the below areas

v  To plan my or others objectives
v  Decision Making
v  To take wise attempts and innovation
v  To curb our inferiority complex
v  For a clear understanding & cooperation from peers
v  To face challenges in dynamic environment & situation
v  For the betterment of self & the dependents (per. or off)
v  For accepting, correcting and controlling mistakes we made

When some youth came to a managerial position in an organisation by hereditary succession or by chance or by influence or by nepotism, they are struggling to manage the people and the contingencies which they would have never faced in their life earlier.  They have to dance according to the tune of his subordinates.

The best ways that you can develop the “Ownership” skills are

v  Do all your works at home and school
v  Take the accountability of one month family budget
(Bargaining / Buying & maintaining family expenses)
v  Do a part time Job or Job on vacation
v  Make a charity project, gather your friends, organise an event to collect fund for the charity)
v  Make a group of children in your locality to discuss about the current politics, economy, science etc., and involve elders too.
v  Travel through various remote areas, rural areas and get the experiences of their lives.
v  Approach old people for their experiences, ideas and advices.
v  Play a game of “Role task” with various services or industry segments and develop the leadership skills.
v  Whenever you get any opportunity to innovate, don’t miss it.
v
Keep a work chart for all the tasks you do.
