Childhood is a spring season (written For Children)

 Dear children! My warmest greetings to all of you.

"Child", wow, what a pleasant and soft word it is. The mind cools as it says it. I always have a nostalgia in my mind. "Let go of being a kid forever!". I love childhood so much. It is a spring season in a man's life. There is no greater joy in this world than to be happily and peacefully in a wonderful state of mind in which childhood does not feel like as rich family or poor family. In the mother's embrace, in the father's bondage without any worries, how much joy it is to cheer, to talk to brothers and sisters, to run and play with other children on the street. Those days of living even in the poverty were feeling like flying in the sky. Even the mistakes made unknowingly, will not stand long in the mind. Childhood is a wonderful period given to man. Keep it as happy as you can, without worrying about anything, without any guilt. This period will leave us as the years go by. So, aspire to be in the child's mental state, for as long as possible. In everything, childhood is beautiful, admirable, and delightful in blandishment. Whether it can be a man, animal, bird, or plant, its childish appearance and nature is sweeter and sweeter.  Do not allow your sight to fall on the mobile phone or any other electronic entertainment gadgets. Stay away from them as long as possible until the suitable age comes. Play with mother and father (even up to the age of twenty). Enjoy talking to brothers and sisters. Run and play (within the sight of the parents).
 Write your favorite, draw pictures as you like, talk to your friends. Do some research thinking that comes to your mind, make a risk-free effort. Sing and dance. Write poems and stories. Share your thoughts and stories with other children (only). Share and eat with other children, in the yard or on the terrace. Do not take into your mind any quarrels that take place in your family. Read a good useful book daily. Lovingly, point out mistakes you see in your parents or siblings. When you make a mistake, gladly accept that your parents reprimand and punish you. You realize that your parents are strict with you because of the concern for you and in the idea that you should be better in the future. Always consider the plight of poor parents and live happily without bothering them.

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.  (Psalm 127:3-5)

Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.  (Psalm 8:2)

Prayer to Heavenly Father


Abba, our Father in the heaven
We’re nothing but praising even
Holy is Thy name to adorations  
Glory and majesty are affiliations
Let Thy kingdom come on Earth
Let Thy word to reign us forth
As Thy will are the laws of heaven,
Let them be the laws in Earth even.
Give the needs for life to everyone,
As all the needs of heaven are done.
Fill us with your spirit to follow Thee
Find our sins and reprimand us free
Grant us the wisdom and insight
To help those who need in our sight
We are the works of Thy hands,
Make us to be tied in Thy bands.
As Thee forgive us and our sins,
Bless us to forget others’ sins.
Don’t allow us to turn away
From the path, Thee array.
Give us good health in body,
Mind and soul to live happily.
Deliver us from all the evil,
For we will live a life peaceful.

Discovery of “Self”


What is “self”?.
  We can compare “self” to the light come from an electric bulb, for that we need to have the outside object(Bulb - Body), inner substance (Tungsten or LED etc.,- Mind) and the power (electricity - Soul).  Like this, “self” is a construction of body, mind and soul. If either of these is not found, self is nowhere. Self is just an emission of light according to the characteristics as the bulb of produced and illuminated until it is switched on by the operator. Many philosophies include heart as a separate dimension of self.  But it is an interrelated medium between these entire three dimensions that is body, mind and soul. It is affected by either of these either physically or emotionally.
 
Discovery of “Self” is a lifelong spiritual pilgrimage that we tend to find out the truth questioning of “self” such  as What we are, Why we are, Where we are and how we are through the insight or wisdom which is an external source provided by the Almighty. Every creation is created by God for some purposes.  Considering our body, our hairs and nails are also made for some purposes.  We must find out the truth for what purpose we are in the World, what are the inbuilt features within me, what I gain from the society and what should I give back to the society.

In the Worldly life, we travel through different interests, different ways, different mind-sets, ideologies and different methodologies.  As well, the journey of our life gives us pains, learning, knowledge, experiences and guidance in various environments. Self- awareness is the main component of the journey examining our thoughts, our speeches, our actions, our feelings, our preferences, our emotions, our ethics & values, our belief and our self-esteem. What we develop inside and what we learned from outside constitute our belief, our vision, our goals, our characteristics and our personality traits. As bible says, “For every tree is known by his own fruit. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” (Luke 6:43-45)
 
Our hope and dreams are built according to our long-term thought which may make us cherish or perish. Keeping the trust on good will keep you good. Keep questioning yourself
 
1) How I was?  (To develop or to destroy)
2) How I am?  (To sustain or withdraw)
3) Where I am?  (In the right path or not)
4) What I am ?  (As a creation of God)
5) Who I am?   (Purpose of my life)
6) What should I be? (My vision and goal)
7) To whom I am accountable?  (Personally & Socially)
8) Why is this? Why not this?  (Cause and effect)
9) What I should think, speak, act and perceive?
10) When should I speak and act?  (Wait for the time)
11) Whether I am right and wrong? (Check with others)
12) What are my core strengths to benefit me and others?
 
“Let us test and examine our ways, and return to the Lord!” (Lamentations 3:40)

Two ways before us

There are two ways before us
What is good, the mind knows
One way is created by God’s will
Another one is chosen by own will 
 
God said you can eat fruits of any trees,
Except the fruits of the forbidden free.
Silly eagerness tempted them to sin.
That made them to feel physical pain

God says you can go this way I made
Except the way in that you’ll be strayed 
Choice is yours to select as per the mind
Consequences will be on what you bind

All that seen to our eyes baste
Pleasures that we seek to taste 
But once we tasted it’s a drug
Making us to lie down as rug 

The way God proposes to us 
Is narrow with little pleasures 
But it’ll lead us to sustain 
In which HE will maintain 

The way the World proposes
Is too broad to find many poses
If we want to be one of the poses,
This life and next will be chaoses



The blame game

Louis Brewster was a school-going adolescence who lived with his mother, who was divorced from her husband. His mother worked as a customer service manager in a large travel company. Because of the lack of consensus with the husband and the ego issue prevailed between them, they divorced. His mother was alleged to be in affair with her Boss as some days in a week she did not come to home. Louis did not receive the affection of his mother or father properly from an early age. On the contrary, from an early age he grew up listening to his parents' arguments, stubbornness, and blaming each other. A longing for love lingered in his mind for days. During his Eleventh grade of schooling,  he got an affection from his classmate Jesse. While he did not get the love and affection either from mother or father, the affection of the friend made a huge impact on him. He spent most of his time talking and entertaining with Jesse. As the days went by it created in him a possessiveness of "her love is only for him".  If Jesse talked or laughed at anyone other than himself (boy or girl), he smashed them up. Jessica did not like or encourage that. So, she avoided associating with him many times. This caused him to have a different sceptical attitude. He could not bear it. In desperation, he went so far as to kill her. This is called Othello Syndrome.  In Shakespeare's story “Othello: The Moor of Venice”, it reflects this attitude in the hero Othello. Iago is violent character about being overlooked for promotion; he hates Othello his General, the Moor of Venice and plots to take revenge against him.   He devises a plan to destroy him by making him to believe that his wife Desdemona is having an affair with his lieutenant, Michael Cassio. Believing his words, Othello gets suspicion, murders Desdemona, and then kills himself.

This type of psychological disposition can now be seen in late teenagers of ages between 15 and 19. Students who are disregarded or overly reprimanded by their parents or spoken negatively by their parents show their perverse intellect by thinking of their peers in school or college as a drain to show their anger. Ragging is the expression of this inferiority complex. Thus it is a trivial pleasure for them. That is, sadistic tendency to persecute others. Other than this, cultural depravities such as Homosexual Relationships, Immoral Relationships (before marriage in school or college life), Group raping, Addiction to drugs, Desensitization of guilt and Adolescence crimes are happening in the society.  For all that, parents are fully responsible but they are just playing the “Blame Game” between them passing the onus to each other. Every parent both father and mother have their own responsibility and legitimacy morally to care their children whether they are going on the right path.  Some of the parents are the worst role models to their children by lust, smoking, drinking, egoism, jealousy, immoral relationship, corruption, domination, scolding each other in bad words and other ruthless activities.  Pleasure is important but much important is from which it comes.  I planned to discuss about these parental sins in different topics but I don’t want to cover all these in this book as I feel that “Everyone knows what is good and what is bad according to their conscience and for heaven sake.” 

“Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart.” (Proverbs 21:2)

Don’t justify yourself for a response of "It's not my fault" with your kids. Curb their bad habit of blaming others and making excuses.

But I can say here, Homosexual Relationship, Immoral Relationship before or after marriage, sexual abuse of children, Divorces due to EGO, improper care of children and Abortions are abhorrent sins against God. 

Parenting is not an easy “Job” as doing officially, but it’s a painful liability that we are answerable to the children and to this society for any misbehaviour that our children do or learned from us. Our kids are maturing amid a culture in which people no longer own their choices, words or actions,  a culture in which there’s always someone to blame for why they do what they do.

Product is important, but process is more important.
Destination is important, but journey is more important.

This blame game started from our first parents.  When they were rebuked by God for their disobedience, Adam put the blame on Eve and subsequently Eve put the blame on the snake. (Genesis 3:12-13).  

Thirteen suggestions for good parenting:
1) Love and care the children as much they needed (Don’t try  
    to show much)
2) Rebuke, advise the children and punish if necessary (Don’t 
    damage their prestige) 
3) Fulfil their necessities (Don’t grow them in abundance of 
    luxury)
4) Be aware of their every movement (But don’t be suspicious 
    always)
5) Be a good role model with best conducts (at least good 
    conducts) – Children are mirror
6) Don’t argue or fight before children
7) Don’t try to be a judge in family
8) Share a mutual and prosperous communication in family
9) Children are not drains to pour your official or personal 
     anger or stress. 
10) Guide your children to taken their responsibility
11) Explain them the choices and consequences (What is 
      good and bad and its result)
12) Allow them to challenge the pains of life in the moral way
13) Inspire family incl. children to read Psalms & Proverbs 
      daily.

Charity and Hospitality

I used to say to my people that even though United States is facing a lot of natural calamities year by year and the terrorist attack on Sep.11, 2001, the Citizens of USA were never been collapsed by the grace of the Almighty. Even there are some sinful acts (like Homosexual practices, Immoral Sex culture, Abortions, Divorces) and sinful earnings (from war equipment) happening, overcoming all these, the great nature of US citizens is Charity and Hospitality.  They treat people equally irrespective of their religion, race etc., and welcoming immigrants every year with loving hearts which is not found in most of other countries. Even after terrorists’ attack, their hearts are not shrunk to think differently. This makes USA as a “dream country” that every citizen of other nations dreams to settle in USA including me.  The constitution, the laws, the legislative set up, the governance, the judicial systems and the political, trade and economic systems and too the people are more conscious on the equal rights which are just found on books in many democratic countries. It is because of the mind-set of the native citizens in the USA. 

When George Perry Floyd Jr., an African American man was killed during an arrest after a store clerk alleged he had passed a counterfeit $20 bill in Minneapolis, the most of the Native Americans (White People) came down to the roads to show their agitation. Even the policemen knelt down before the people to regret for the incident made by another police man. Really it made me to feel the difference in maintaining of justice and equality in USA and other countries. We used to get jealousy on the democratic values of USA. According to the Treasury Department’s citing figures from the Giving USA report on charitable donations in 2019, confirmed that Americans gave an estimated $449.64 billion to charity last year 2019, with a 2.4% increase from 2018 and the second highest amount on record. Other than this, the Americans are donating to other Nations individually or through organisations.  It is a very true statement made by the Secretary Steven Mnuchin that “The American people are among the most generous in the world,”.   Truly saying, American Food supplies by donation had been feeding most of the developing countries and under developed countries during 20th century and still have been feeding to some poor countries. USA is blessed as the most largest economy conforming the Biblical verse “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you” (Luke 6:38).

Islam also teaches us all many beautiful things through Quran and Sunnah, and giving charity is one of them. Charity is one's way to show compassion towards the needy. It acts as a reminder to try fulfilling the needs of others for the sake of humanity. A small portion of charity from our income gives a greater life to the needy people and it gives the pleasure to us seeing the joyful smiling of those who receive it. “Charity begins at home but should not end with it.”. If charity is not within humanity, there is no use of it.  Charity gives lives to many in the World to reconstruct individual life as well as society. Charity brings to life again those who are spiritually dead. He who has no charity deserves no mercy. At the same time some trusts, organisations and individuals are cheating others to get money in the name of charity.  They are the stains and hurdles in the society for the generous people to rethink of charity.  

“Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.” (Proverbs 19:17)


 

Blessed is the blessed for ever

My Lord! my God!
All that blessed are blessed for ever.

Bless the work of my hand
So, I’ll do all my works grand 
Bless the word of my mouth
So, I’ll speak to others to soothe 

Bless the path of my walk
So, I’ll find nothing to block

Nepotism & Favoritism are the shape of fascism

 Nepotism that is a favoritism to some specific people in workplace is a vicious word to many of the workers and it is a boon to some workers. I, too myself in my career life was suffered a lot due to this nepotism even though I was doing the best part of my performance and an outstanding job in any organisation. People like me, those who used to do their performance rather than appeasing the immediate boss personally, are suffering in their day-to-day career life.   Either by religion, gender, caste, race, linguistical or personal relationship or in some other forms  (like joining with for corruption, Sex…) which cannot be written in book openly, the favoritism spreads through various parts of the World in various industries and various fields.  The workers they want these favoritism used to keep their eyes only on the boss(The Godfather in Job) rather than their job responsibilities. They take any measures in any means to soothe and please the “GodFather” personally. The “Godfathers” pay a preferential treatment back to the workers who pleased them personally.  This nepotism is a common phenomenon happened in MNCs and corporate companies at the time of Appraisal, Increment, Promotion and Layoff. 

These type of attitude can be motivational one or by chance. But on anyways, it creates an unjust politics in the working environment and negatively can impact a company's culture and growth. But unfortunately from bottom to top the entire systems are functioning like this. It kills the real value, conscience and morale of genuine hard worker and performer but at the same time it induces non-perfomer to do any immoral work to appease his Boss. In a statistical survey, it has been said more than 85% of the workers experienced either negatively or favorably such type of nepotism in their organisations.   

When an employee is not treated according to his or her performance or hardwork and somebody who is a poor performer but gets a preferential treatment, it is an injustice, immorality and malignancy like prostitution as he or she pay for his or her pleasures in an illegal way. 

The pains in the mind of dejected genuine workers cannot be expressed in writing.  No such employee wants to deal with or respect a boss who plays this nepotism politics. I never respected these kinds of bosses. But for heaven sake, I worked honestly and sincerely for the organisations. This kind of immature nepotism spoils the relationship among employees,  employees' motivation and engagement, causes resentment and encourages disrespect. It creates a unpleasant politics within employees which the bosses would like to enjoy for spying the employees. 

When favoritism and nepotism have a negative impact on teamwork, communication, employee relationships and work performance, rewards and promotions are not based on objective criteria but only based on personal interest, it will discourage competition in job and affect team morale. Mostly in countries like India, this nepotism is found on either caste or liguistical or religious basis. Also some managers practice it for involving in corruption and sex.

I feel that this Favoritism is a fascism and like prostitution none another than that.

Perceptions kill perfection many times

Michael Stevens was a famous painter. Once in every six months, he exhibited his paintings and puts them up for auction. All of his modern arts were worth thousands of dollars in auction. For those six months he was unable to draw any paintings properly due to family problem. But if he does not display the paintings within a week, his clients would find another artist and his market value would also go down. Not knowing what to do, he went to the beach. He wandered restless here and there. The mind was troubled. Going even further distance, there was a man from another town who was hoarding to sell his paintings for two dollars each. All were very elegant paintings. Almost, there were a hundred paintings. But, there was not even one person to buy it. Michael Stevens bought all the paintings for five hundred dollars. He came home and drew his signature on the paintings, called his regular vendor to fix frames to the paintings. Within a week everything was over very neatly. The day came for the painting to be displayed. His assistant hung all the paintings one by one in the exhibition gallery. Large crowd gathered to see the paintings. Among them was John Elford, a close friend of Stevens. He was an adept at admiring and commenting on paintings. Elford, who had been looking at several paintings, was standing in front of a painting for a long time. Many who followed him stared at the painting. Everyone who saw it gave different ideas about it. The exhibition came to an end and the auction began. All the paintings were auctioned off at a higher price than usual. In the end, the painting, which Elford had been staring at for a long time, came up for auction. The value of the painting went up in auction and eventually sold for 12000 dollars. Elford went into a state of shock and approached straight to Stevens and said, "It's the most disgusting painting you've ever made. I took that for a long time to figure out what it meant. But nothing is in it. I’m surprised how it was gone for USD 12000” he asked.  Stevens smiled and said, "It's not my painting. When I started painting on the sheet and within a few lines drawn, an argument began between me and my wife. I had forgotten that it was her birthday that day. She poured a cup of hot milk tea on the sheet to show her anger. I had put the sheet aside in the living room. The vendor, who came to fix frames to other paintings, fitted the frame to this sheet also. Unknowingly my assistant also hanged the same in the gallery along with other paintings. As you stared at the sheet for a long time, the people followed you in the queue also spent a lot of time on that sheet thinking that there was something important in it. In fact, I did not even paint one of these paintings. These paintings, which I bought for five hundred dollars, went for five lakh dollars today. "

Thus, many products, many ideas and ideologies are marketed in the name of public opinion or through advertising. We choose many based on perception or predict many people based on conjecture. This is due to the situation, popularity, glamor, marketing, advertising, public opinion, blind faith, mass opinion, mass media, recommendation and many other stimuli. Most people do not think and act on their own insight but they follow one another like a flock of sheep.

The World that did not accept the principles of Socrates and Jesus Christ and killed them for their principles, today the same World accepts their teachings as philosophies (only). If Jesus Christ were in the world today, he would be saying his thoughts in some corner of the world that nobody could recognize him. There would be no one to listen to his preaching. But the people who think of him as God, are running behind various men keeping the teachings of Christ to sleep. Those men are adding wealth by marketing themselves in the name of Christ. None of the best will be touched. All the fakes are on stage. This is the world of marketing. Perceptions in many times often lead to wrong conclusions. The right ones will fail.

“And he said, “Go, and say to this people: “‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’ Make the heart of this people dull, and their ears heavy, and blind their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.”  (Isaiah 6:9-10)

Concealing sins or Confessing? Choice is yours.

Story - 1:
He was a young priest in a church. He was someone who was sweet to everyone. He had a handsome appearance that was attractive to look at. Many people came to his room every day to talk to him. Young women and married women were included in the list. Some of them caught him in their trap and had sex with him. Every day the young priest got used to it. Over the course of the day, his passion increased and turned on the boys. Many boys were misled by him. Guilt did not arise in him. He did not repend to ask the Lord for forgiveness for the mistake he had made. He justified his mistakes by saying, "I have committed a sin that everyone has ever committed.".  One day when he approached a hospital for fever, he was diagnosed with cancer. It gave him tremendous stress. Every day all the sins he had committed up to that time took over his mind. With guilt rising day by day, he ended his life himself. If he had realized his sin on the first day and asked the Lord for forgiveness, he would have stopped with one sin.

Story 2:
Jeffrey Dahmer was a cruel psycho killer grown by the irresponsibility of their parents in child rearing. From an early age, he grew up guilt because he was not properly disciplined by his parents, who grew up stealing, spilling bad words, beating and harassing others, having sex during school hours, having sex with animals and cutting off their organs cruelly. He went on to commit many crimes such as murders and rapes without any trace and guilty consciousness. No psychological counselling or advice was taken into his mind. Eventually,  he was brutally beaten to death by an inmate in the prison.

Covering up one sin is the way to accumulate many sins. If we confess our sin to God in the first instance and then ask for forgiveness, it will not lead us to any other sin but to free us from that sin. Sometimes we justify our mistakes by saying, "This is a small mistake," "I did what everyone else did," "It's not at all sin," "I did it because he did it".  If we confess our sins to the Lord immediately and ask His forgiveness, our sins will be forgiven by the Lord and we will be able to live a life worthy to Him.

Those who cover up sin may one day become mentally ill or one day will become a psycho.

Even Adam and Eve, the first sinners, tried to conceal their sin from the Lord. 
David apologized to the Lord in front of everyone for his sins.
There can be no better conversion than when we openly confess our sins in our family prayers and ask forgiveness for our sins, or openly confess our sins to the Lord in the worship place.

“Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper,
but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.”  (Proverbs 28:13)

“When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah. I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. (Psalm 32:3-5)

“When anyone becomes aware that they are guilty in any of these matters, they must confess in what way they have sinned”.  (Leviticus 5:5)



“JUSTICE” becomes “JUST ICE”

Darren belonged to a lower middle class. He earned low income and owned an inheritance property of only half a ground land. He did not have enough cash to build a house in it. It was located in the center of town. He had simply put that for future purpose. Adjacent to that land was the house of a prominent figure with sound wealth and power. For some years, the land had been rolling his eyes. Suddenly a building arose on that land. Darren had a shock seeing a building as he had not come to see the land for many months. When approached the Sales Deeds department, it was said that the land had already been transferred in the name of the prominent person. Darren had lodged a complaint with the police. The complaint was not taken into consideration as the key figure was influential up to the top. He approached the court through a lawyer spending money. Plaintiff's attorney and counter-attorney sold justice to the influence and money of the key figure. The judge relied on that key figure for his promotion. So, Darren lost his land and money and fell victim to injustice.

Today, these events are becoming a daily routine in some Asian and African countries. Justice is not common to all but different to Poor or ordinary people and to the affluent or influential people. Many lawyers working in the judicial system today, with the exception of a few, have lost their consciences and hearts and are slaves to money.
Many of the judges bend justice for their promotions and for some or many privileges. Innocents, laymen, and humanitarians are the target of their “justice”.
 
Usually, some will do some favour to cool a man down to get something from him. In rhetoric, we used to jokingly call it "putting ice on his head". That is the position followed by some in the judiciary today. Yes, justice has narrowly become "finance". (JUSTICE becomes JUST ICE). Confidence in the judiciary is declining in many places today.  Some Law people are coming to their professions studying only loop holes in the laws.

“You shall do no injustice in court. You shall not be partial to the poor or defer to the great, but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbor.”              (Leviticus 19:15)
“An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous, but one whose way is straight is an abomination to the wicked. “ (Proverbs 29:27)
“How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah   (Psalm 82:2)
“You shall not spread a false report. You shall not join hands with a wicked man to be a malicious witness. You shall not fall in with the many to do evil, nor shall you bear witness in a lawsuit, siding with the many, so as to pervert justice, nor shall you be partial to a poor man in his lawsuit.
 “You shall not pervert the justice due to your poor in his lawsuit.”      (Exodus 23: 1-6)




Why our prayers are not answered….?

If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. (Psalm 66:18)

But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear. (Isaiah 59:2)

When you spread out your hands, I will hide my eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I will not listen; your hands are full of blood. Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil,  (Isaiah 1:15-16)

If one turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination. (Proverbs 28:9)

Whoever gives to the poor will not want, but he who hides his eyes will get many a curse. (Proverbs 28:27)

Whoever closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself call out and not be answered. (Proverbs 21:13)

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (Mark 11:24)

Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.   (Proverbs 19:17)

The LORD is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous. (Proverbs 15:29)

Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the heart. (Proverbs 21: 22)

You shall not oppress or afflict a resident alien, for you were once aliens residing in the land of Egypt. You shall not wrong any widow or orphan. If ever you wrong them and they cry out to me, I will surely listen to their cry. My wrath will flare up, and I will kill you with the sword; then your own wives will be widows, and your children orphans. (Exodus 22:20-23)

You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me,  (Exodus 20:5)

……Don't refuse to help a beggar who is in distress. Don't turn your back on a poor person or give him any reason to curse you. 6 If he becomes so bitter that he does curse you, his Creator will hear his prayer.  (Sirach 4: 1 – 6)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (Provebs 3:5-6)

Because you have ignored all my counsel (Wisdom’s) and would have none of my reproof, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when terror strikes you,(Psalm 1:25-26)

A son honors his father, and a servant fears his master;
If, then, I am a father,  where is the honor due to me?
And if I am a master,   where is the fear due to me?
You ask, “How have we defiled it?”. By saying that the table of the LORD may be disdained!. c]When you offer a blind animal for sacrifice, is there no wrong in that? When you offer a lame or sick animal, is there no wrong in that? Present it to your governor! Will he be pleased with you—or show you favor?says the LORD of hosts………..  (Malachi 1:6-14)

But you have turned aside from the way,  and have caused many to stumble by your instruction; You have corrupted the covenant of Levi,  says the LORD of hosts. therefore, have made you contemptible and base before all the people, For you do not keep my ways,    but show partiality in your instruction. Have we not all one father? Has not one God created us? Why, then, do we break faith with each other, profaning the covenant of our ancestors?  (Malachi 2:8-10)

This also you do: the altar of the LORD you cover    with tears, weeping, and groaning, Because the Lord no longer takes note of your offering or accepts it favorably from your hand.  And you say, “Why?”—   Because the LORD is witness
between you and the wife of your youth With whom you have broken faith,    though she is your companion, your covenanted wife. Did he not make them one, with flesh and spirit? And what does the One require? Godly offspring!
You should be on guard, then, for your life, and do not break faith with the wife of your youth. For I hate divorce,
says the LORD, the God of Israel,  (Malachi 2:13-16)

You have wearied the LORD with your words,  yet you say, “How have we wearied him?”. By saying, “All evildoers are good in the sight of the LORD, And he is pleased with them,”  or “Where is the just God?”  (Malachi 2: 17)

For righteous:
“But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31)

“He will call on me, and I will answer him” (Psalm 91:15)

“Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” (Psalm 27:14)
But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me. (Micah 7:7)


Are Researches exceeding their Limit?

He was a poor man. Considering his many days of toil, an angel appeared before him, gave him a magical pigeon as a gift and disappeared. He also carefully cared and fed the magical pigeon. As the days went by, that magical pigeon came to lay a golden egg every day. The man who was originally generous became much greedy. By the abundance of his greed, he gave the pigeon more food. The pigeon ate as much as possible and laid two eggs daily. Two became fours, eights as the man fed more and more. Later, he forced food into the pigeon until it laid twenty golden eggs a day. Thinking that if there was another pigeon like this he would get more golden eggs, he arranged an ordinary pigeon to intercourse with that magical pigeon.

Over a period, the magical pigeon hatched some eggs and gave birth to some squabs. In order for the squabs to grow faster, he gave them a diet mixed with drugs. Some died and some were maimed. Greed had not yet left that man. He continued to do research what to do to earn more.  As he had made several researches, one day the magic pigeon and its squabs became extinct.
 
The angel is this world and the universe. The Magic Pigeon is the world's natural resources. Ordinary pigeons are man-made artificial.
 
In today's world, various researches are going on, in the field of physics, in the field of chemistry, in the field of medicine, in the field of space research, in the field of information technology and many more. On the one hand research is being done for creative work while on the other hand research is being done for destructive power. Nuclear research for creative power and microbiological research for diagnosis have been transformed into destructive forces today. Software is designed to protect the computer on the one hand, and on the other hand, software is made to destroy computer and applications or to steal or hack users’ information.
 
On one hand while researching drugs for the disease on the other hand
Microbial and chemical factors that cause diseases are developed. There is a lot of research going on for destruction in the name of progress. Man needs food, clothing, shelter and health. But apart from these, a lot of unnecessary research is being done including space research and artificial intelligence. There is no doubt that these will lead this world to the path of destruction. You and I are too responsible for this.
 
“The Lord's power is great, and he is honored by those who are humble. Don't try to understand things that are too hard for you, or investigate matters that are beyond your power to know.  Concentrate on the Law, which has been given to you. You do not need to know about things which the Lord has not revealed,  so don't concern yourself with them. After all, what has been shown to you is beyond human power to understand.  Many people have been misled by their own opinions; their wrong ideas have warped their judgment.”
                                                            (Sirach 3:20-24)



True Love has no limits….

 It was a story I heard when I was at the age of 10, when I was passing aside a church in my native place. It was delivered by a priest in his sermon about the strength of a True Love in the mass.  Really it was stored in my mind and when I wanted to make a thought for the day about true love, it was reflected on my mind to present here. 

She was a widow from a poor background. On her young age, she lost her husband, an alcohol patient leaving a son to her without any proper financial support. She worked hard in many places and raised her son. She fed him well and dressed nicely for looking handsome despite her disability and ailment. She kept her illness and pain to herself without showing him. Her body twisted as she worked harder. However she graduated her son.  Even after his graduation, he survived for two years in the shadow of his mother. Two years later he got a job. He spent most of his salary on liquor, prostitution and gambling. He fell in love with the beauty of a prostitute who caught his eye and began to fall in love with her. The news fell on the mother's ears as many said. She was much in mental agony. She was disappointed as she expected that her son would change and mend. One day he brought the prostitute to the home and said, "Mom, I want to marry her," and hearing this, her mother burst into tears. She begged her son. But the son did not listen to the mother. On the concern of her son, the mother beat cursing the prostitute and pushed her out of the house. The son did not mind leaving the prostitute. He went to her and said, "We will get married without my mother's knowledge. I will stay with you here".  The prostitute said to him, "I will marry you only if you kill your mother and give me her heart as a gift".  Whether it was the mother's affection or the prostitute's love, the lust for the prostitute closed his eyes. He went home. Mom lovingly served food to him. After eating, he drank too much liquor. As intractable intoxication hiked to his head and lust engulfed his mind, he stabbed his mother to death with a knife. Then, taking his mother's heart, he ran nervously to the prostitute's house. On the way, his leg was stumbled by a big stone. He fell down making a minor injury in his leg. The mother's heart, which he held in his hands said, "Careful, My son! Are you so injured? Is it painful?. I am with you". When he heard that, he was heartbroken. He went straight to the prostitute's house and gave her the mother's heart. While she was getting it and she was smiling funny. He stabbed her with the knife and killed himself.

Many of the people today think of lust as love, affection and friendship. They set aside true love. Like the love of that mother, no matter how much we turn away from God and go against Him, God keeps telling us many times,
"Careful,  My son! Are you so injured? Is it so painful? I am with you".

There is no limit to true love which was stressed by the Tamil Poet Thiruvalluvar as: 
"அன்பிà®±்குà®®் உண்டோ அடைக்குà®®்தாà®´்?  ஆர்வலர் 
புன்கணீà®°் பூசல் தருà®®்."  
in English
And is there bar that can even love restrain?
The tiny tear shall make the lover's secret plain.  
Meaning,  "Is there any fastening that can shut in love ? Tears of the affectionate will publish the love that is within"

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”   (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)



Arrogance in Public Service

 A king named Zhang Yong ruled the southern province of China. He had appointed officers to each towns and villages to hear the grievances of the people in those towns and to rectify the same instantly. One of them was Wang Tsu, who was appointed an officer in a town. He discriminated against every human being in every way. He behaved arrogantly towards the poor and the simple, and politely towards the rich and those in power and popularity. The petitions of the poor were also considered by him late.
Many stood speechless, unable to rebuke him for such behavior. His transgression went on like this for many days. One day it reached the ear of King Zhang Yong. The king took off his clothes and went to Wang Tsu’s office, dressed as a layman. When the King extended his hand to hand over a petition to Wang Tsu, he ordered him to go outside and wait. The king, too, politely went outside and waited. Meanwhile, Wang Tsu heard that one of the King’s servants was coming to meet him and Wang Tsu was waiting at the door to receive him.  The King’s servant, who had arrived, gave to Wang Tsu a letter and left. Wang Tsu, who had opened and read it, was sweating profusely in shock. It was written as "The king has been waiting a long time to meet you. You have ignored him and made him waited for a long time". He looked at everyone standing outside the door. There was one of them waiting was the king in a layman attire. He went straight to and fell at the king's feet, "King! Forgive me. I did not expect you to come to the laity like this. So I kept you waiting. If you had called I would have come myself for you!" he screamed. The king said to him, "So you did not value King Zhang Yong and his honor, but only my royal attire and my royal position." Then the king stripped him of his office and ordered him to be flogged a hundred times.
 
Today, in some Third world countries, some who work in public service (private firms), in government banks, in government hospitals discriminate against the poor, the layman in one way of approach and the rich, the powerful in another way. These practices can be seen even in senior mature elder public servants working in some government banks. They earn income from the government (from the people’s money) to do the work of the people. To do it, they pride themselves with arrogance, insertion, disrespect and bribe.(corresponding suitable name bribe - theft, begging, looting).  Arrogance and Ego is found in elder low level cadre people in these time in offices and banks but in younger (Physicians) people in health services.

“They close their hearts to pity; with their mouths they speak arrogantly.”   (Psalm 17:10)

“Talk no more so very proudly, let not arrogance come from your mouth; for the Lord is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.” (1 Samuel 2:3)

“I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will put an end to the pomp of the arrogant, and lay low the pompous pride of the ruthless.”  (Isaiah 13:11)



To forget or to forgive…? (English Poetry)

“How to forgive, 
  I am to my foe?”  
I asked the Lord.
“Forgive like me” said.
I said to the Lord!
“To forgive, you’re God!
I’m just a human being!
Daily memories are afflicting.  
“Forgetting is the first step to forgiveness,
 For getting out from the pains of bitterness.
 To punish the one who pierced the sword, 
 Do, good to him as much as” said the Lord.

To the enemies too who do evil 
How I will dare to do goodwill?
Even at the time of my eyelid closing,
Exhibiting are their troubles in thinking. 
In the nature of human’s forgetfulness,
Unforgotten is the blunder of larcenous.
Until death in the human mind,
Why there will the austerity find?
To say that “Get lost”,
These’re not trivial just.
As it can’t be dissolved,
They’re treason symbols.
Scars appear on the outside,
I was in a lot of pains deride
When I was suffered in distress,
These are the ones give me stress.
Lord! Please give me a boon that 
Goodness will surround my thought,
For the stains all that to be washed-out 
Weeds in the mind must be thrown out.
Weeds that growing along grains,
Sweep out from my mind drained.
In the enigmatic life of mine,
Holiness must be ever shined.
At the stage of unforgivable,
I must forget the enemies’ foul.
In all the thoughts I think,
Expectation has to shrink.
By escaping the fallacy else,
Must not be stayed in sense  
As like a pearl in the oyster
In my thought must be Your  
As my mind and soul are yours,
You’ll light your lamp that endures
Like as a bright twinkling stellar,  - in me,
Love N’ humility must be dweller.   



Journey of the Ship to Infinity (English Poetry)

I’m a “ship of faith”,
Sailing on an ocean’s firth
To reach the right destiny,
To beseech the apt ecstasy.
 
In the pushing back hatred for,
It heaves and sways surging fore.
When tyrannies are side by side,
It yaws and rolls pitching in slide.
 
It wobbles as a drunken sot
It hobbles as a broken foot
Tides make it go up and down
Yet, it’s stable not to be drown
 
Even the waves surge on it,
Even the storm purge its fit,
Heavenly aid will come to it.
Endlessly its journey will last.
 
All its might is even waster 
Almighty Lord is its master
Loads and loads it’s carrying
Lord the God is ever caring
 
In the broad and spread ocean,
The master knows all its motion.
When the ship was break down
Worried not, it was master’s done.
 
It’s a long journey to sail
But, in the Lord it’s to hail
Either breeze or storm,
It will find nothing harm.
 
The seas rage rough N’ tough
The profound oceans too chuff
But this ship travels elatedly,
To see the terminus eternally.
 
Duty is to bring the loads safer
Despite threats are in wayfarer
Souls are the loads that God bears
Sailing is the life that God steers
 
Come with me, Ye’ you others,
In the course, my master guides
Follow the ways of HIS navigation,
For HE will take us to beatification.


Why prayer is much important?

Prayer is not just a religious ritual. Prayer is a science,  enlightenment, a medicine, a meditation, a lifestyle and the bonding that connects God and man.  

Prayer is an expression of Hope (Expectation from God)
Prayer is an expression of faith (Belief in God)
Prayer is an expression of humility (To understand External & Eternal status) 
Prayer is an expression of peace of mind (To define the inner status) 
Prayer has the power to repel negative thoughts.

Man cannot give anything to God by praying, but, at the same time man gets various benefits. The results of many researches show that through prayer, we can make many changes in ourselves physically and mentally. For example, the Pineal Gland inside our brain secretes pleasure-producing peptides that make us happy. Also today’s medical analysis reports that Endorphins, a group of hormones secreted within the brain and nervous system and having a number of physiological functions. They are peptides which activate the body's opiate receptors, causing an analgesic effect that is bringing the man to ecstasy or meditation.  When we pray in deep, these glands secrete the peptides which increase the health of our body and mind.  

A study and survey conducted among US citizens stated that there was a huge decline in the number of people praying routine from the year 2007 to 2020.  Again it is increased to a considerable numbers in the year when COVID-19 threatened their lives.  
Most of the US citizens believe God but they don’t have faith in prayers how it will work.

According to the Pew Research Center’s Religious Landscape Study, over half of American adults pray daily, and less than a quarter seldom or never pray. Prayer is not exclusive to the religiously affiliated. Pew finds that 20 percent of Americans who are religiously unaffiliated pray daily and that another 18 percent pray weekly or monthly. Since the advent of the Coronavirus crisis millions of Americans have addressed the fears and challenges raised by COVID-19 through prayer. As part of a new two-dimensional national survey of U.S. adults commissioned by The Presidential Prayer Team, a non-partisan, non-profit organization, profiles the prayer life of Americans. The survey of the general public reveals that in the initial weeks of the pandemic half of all adults (49%) indicated they prayed more than usual in response to the pandemic while just 4% prayed less and four out of ten (41%) did not change their normal prayer practices.
 
Prayer is a distinct shape of meditation and medication which supports in all the health benefits as said earlier.
Meditation simply denotes the stage of “nothingness” in the man and has been proved clinically that it reduce the stress and tension. Simultaneously it controls blood pressure, to reduce heart rate, to result in cardiorespiratory synchronization, to alter levels of melatonin and serotonin, to suppress corticostriatal glutamatergic neurotransmission, to boost the immune response, to decrease the levels of reactive oxygen species as measured by ultraweak photon emission, to reduce stress and promote positive mood states, to reduce anxiety and pain and enhance self-esteem and to have a favorable influence on overall and spiritual quality of life in late-stage disease. Interestingly, spiritual meditation has been found to be superior to secular meditation and relaxation in terms of decrease in anxiety and improvement in positive mood, spiritual health, spiritual experiences and tolerance to pain.
Prayers give a Positive Vibration
Prayer may be supported by varying degrees of faith and may therefore be associated with all the benefits that have been associated with the placebo response
Clinically significant treatment gains have been observed with placebo in numerous disorders, including anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, tardive dyskinesia, ischemic heart disease, cardiac failure, Parkinson's disease and even cancer, among a host of other conditions. Relevant to the context of prayer and healing, the placebo response is influenced by personality traits and behaviors such as optimism, response expectancy, motivational concordance and degree of engagement.

Remedy for Psychological & Personality Traits 
Prayer may be associated with improvements that result from spontaneous remission (e.g., depression and mania), regression (to the mean improvement that occurs as a result of random fluctuation in the severity of illness) and nonspecific psychosocial support can reduce anxiety, depression, pain and similar constructs.
Spontaneous remission and regression to the mean may occur coincidental to prayer. Nonspecific psychosocial support related to prayer may arise in group prayer settings. 

Prayer as a spiritual interaction of Man with God
In every one of our personal pains, tragedies, illness or distress, social threats, National calamities, on a hopeless situation beyond our control and might, we tend to depend on the supreme power that is Almighty God which makes a spiritual bonding in terms of the faith and hope of God.  
Reconstructing the union of societies
Even though, a silent a sole prayer gives lot of benefit personally (Jesus Christ used to do individual prayers), family prayers and group prayers for mutual needs will strengthen the bonding and relationship with families and societies.  If people of different religion but with the same faith pray together in one arena, surely it will reconstruct the union among people irrespective of various diversities. 

“The LORD is near to all them that call on him, to all that call on him in truth.”  (Psalm 145 : 18)
“and call on me in the day of trouble;  I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”  (Psalm 50 : 15)
“He will call on me, and I will answer him;
    I will be with him in trouble,
    I will deliver him and honor him.” (Psalm 91 : 15)
“Then shall you call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you.” (Jeremiah 29:12)
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you: 8 For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.”  (Matthew 7:7-8)
