Story - 1:
He was a young priest in a church. He was someone who was sweet to everyone. He had a handsome appearance that was attractive to look at. Many people came to his room every day to talk to him. Young women and married women were included in the list. Some of them caught him in their trap and had sex with him. Every day the young priest got used to it. Over the course of the day, his passion increased and turned on the boys. Many boys were misled by him. Guilt did not arise in him. He did not repend to ask the Lord for forgiveness for the mistake he had made. He justified his mistakes by saying, "I have committed a sin that everyone has ever committed.". One day when he approached a hospital for fever, he was diagnosed with cancer. It gave him tremendous stress. Every day all the sins he had committed up to that time took over his mind. With guilt rising day by day, he ended his life himself. If he had realized his sin on the first day and asked the Lord for forgiveness, he would have stopped with one sin.

Story 2:
Jeffrey Dahmer was a cruel psycho killer grown by the irresponsibility of their parents in child rearing. From an early age, he grew up guilt because he was not properly disciplined by his parents, who grew up stealing, spilling bad words, beating and harassing others, having sex during school hours, having sex with animals and cutting off their organs cruelly. He went on to commit many crimes such as murders and rapes without any trace and guilty consciousness. No psychological counselling or advice was taken into his mind. Eventually, he was brutally beaten to death by an inmate in the prison.
Covering up one sin is the way to accumulate many sins. If we confess our sin to God in the first instance and then ask for forgiveness, it will not lead us to any other sin but to free us from that sin. Sometimes we justify our mistakes by saying, "This is a small mistake," "I did what everyone else did," "It's not at all sin," "I did it because he did it". If we confess our sins to the Lord immediately and ask His forgiveness, our sins will be forgiven by the Lord and we will be able to live a life worthy to Him.
Those who cover up sin may one day become mentally ill or one day will become a psycho.
Even Adam and Eve, the first sinners, tried to conceal their sin from the Lord.
David apologized to the Lord in front of everyone for his sins.
There can be no better conversion than when we openly confess our sins in our family prayers and ask forgiveness for our sins, or openly confess our sins to the Lord in the worship place.

“Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper,
but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.” (Proverbs 28:13)

“When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah. I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. (Psalm 32:3-5)
“When anyone becomes aware that they are guilty in any of these matters, they must confess in what way they have sinned”. (Leviticus 5:5)
