All seconds throb like heartbeats;
All minutes hasten like athletes;
All hours are passed like a haze;
All days are gone to their ways;
All weeks fled like a freed kite;
Even the months are lost at site.
The newborn year comes to end;
To give the way to another friend;
The new one will be born in a few;
It's time to send the old to a slew.
The weather changed time to time;
Climate N' seasons are made grime.
Men too altered all by ill druthers,
To grow from the fossil of others.
Cupidity N' crave for luxury life,
Called to grave many lives rife.
They make a path to invisible foe,
And imperil the Earth to burst floe.
Marauders ruin the lives N' existence;
Vultures roam for prey in the distance.
They build their homes on the cemetery;
With the blocks of greed, lust N' luxury.
When people are in hunger N' in dangers,
Why do these animals behave as strangers?
But Thee O' Lord! Thou never changeth;
Thy eternal love N' grace is till my death.
Throughout this year I'm run by Thee;
Thou art the refuge from by birth to me.
I'm not shaken or forsaken in the World,
For Thou art keeping my hands furled.
What beautiful years you've given in past!
With those you added this one too at last!
The New Year will come on the next day;
Thy grace will surround us all as a sway.
I find no right word to express gratitude;
It's incredible for us to think, to conclude.
This year you've blessed us profusely,
with no fear, no disease N' no paucity.
Thou protected us from the pestilence;
And wars that might disturb the peace.
Even we're eyed by the snakes for prey,
They can't touch our shadow, as we pray.
